The new cast of “Real Housewives of Atlanta” has been revealed and doesn’t appear to include Shereé Whitfield.
The show’s last remaining OG was axed ahead of season 16, making this her third exit from the Bravo hit series. Whitfield’s latest exit is a part of a larger cast shakeup. In February, Kandi Burruss revealed she would not be returning. That same month, it was widely reported that Marlo Hampton was not returning for another season. In March, it was announced that track star Sanya Richards-Ross was also exiting the show.
Since Whitfield’s name had not come up in previous exit announcements, some fans believed she was in the clear. Unfortunately, the “RHOA” star won’t be returning after all. Whitfield began in Season 1 but left the franchise after four seasons. She returned to Bravo as a friend of the show in Season 8 before once again becoming a full-time cast member in Season 9. After just two seasons, the fashion designer left “RHOA” again but resurfaced in Season 13 as a guest before the network offered her a full-time contract in Season 14.
Since the news, social media had quite a lot to say, and the reactions are mixed.

The upgraded cast will reportedly consist of Kenya Moore, Drew Sidora, Shamea Morton Mwangi, Brittany Eady, Kelli Ferrell, and Angela Oakley, wife of NBA icon Charles Oakley.
