Diddy Denies New Allegations of Drugging and Assault in 1991 Incident

Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with another lawsuit, this time from a woman accusing the Bad Boy founder of battery and sexual assault from incidents that allegedly occurred in the mid-90s.

The lawsuit, filed by April Lampros and her attorney Tyrone Blackburn in New York County Supreme Court, details how Lampros met Diddy in 1994 as a college student at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Blackburn, who is also representing other accusers alleging sexual assault by Diddy and his son, Christian “King” Combs, including Lil Rod, has previously represented plaintiffs in high-profile cases against celebrities like T.I. and Tiny, and Nicki Minaj.

Lampros claims Diddy initially “love-bombed” her with gifts and flowers, which soon escalated into an “aggressive, coercive, and abusive relationship based on sex.” She alleges that Diddy raped her in 1995 and sexually assaulted her again in a car sometime after, witnessed by a parking attendant. She also recounts a 1996 incident where Diddy forced her and his then-girlfriend Kim Porter (who passed away in 2018) to take ecstasy and have sex with him.

In addition to these accusations, Lampros claims Diddy assaulted her at her apartment around 2000 or 2001. The lawsuit names Diddy, his label Bad Boy Records, and Arista Records as defendants.

Lampros is the second woman to sue Diddy this week. On Tuesday, Crystal McKinney filed a federal lawsuit alleging Diddy assaulted her in his New York recording studio when she was 22. She also claims he promised to help her career but later “blackballed” her from the modeling industry.

Similarly, Lampros’ lawsuit states that Diddy promised to mentor her and help her connect with music and fashion industry executives, making her fear he would ruin her career if she disobeyed him. The complaint includes several photos, a Valentine’s Day card, and a Father’s Day celebration invite.

Lampros’ lawyer, Tyrone Blackburn, also represents other accusers. Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones, a producer on Diddy’s latest album, accused Diddy of sexual assault and harassment in a February lawsuit. Last month, Grace O’Marcaigh accused Christian Combs of sexually assaulting her in December 2022. The Combs family’s lawyers have denied all these claims.

Attorney Shawn Holley called Jones a “liar” seeking an “undeserved payday,” stating they have “overwhelming, indisputable proof” that Jones’ claims are lies. Holley said their attempts to share this proof with Blackburn have been ignored.

Diddy is also facing multiple other lawsuits, including one from an anonymous accuser alleging rape when she was 17 and another from his ex-girlfriend, singer Cassie, accusing him of rape, sex trafficking, and physical abuse. Combs and Cassie settled for an undisclosed amount shortly after the lawsuit was filed.

In November, Joi Dickerson-Neal filed a lawsuit against Combs, alleging she was drugged, sexually assaulted, and the victim of “revenge porn.” Diddy has denied all claims against him.

In a separate incident, a surveillance video showed Combs physically assaulting Ventura in 2016. Combs posted an apology video on May 19, taking full responsibility for his actions in the video.

In March, Diddy’s homes in California and Florida were searched by U.S. Homeland Security as part of an “ongoing” federal investigation related to sex trafficking out of New York.
