Record producer AE is speaking out following the viral Cannes brawl involving him, Tyga, Southside and Travis Scott.
TMZ caught up to the music maker, who initially didn’t want to speak on the incident. As the interviewer pried, AE stated, “It’s all good.” He then joked that his bodyguard did not have to defend him during the fight. He opened up briefly, letting it be known he does not have an issue with Southside, whom he was seen fighting on stage.
“Shoutout Southside. That’s my n***a. I know he was just defending his boy and doing what he was supposed to be doing as his boy. I don’t got no hard feelings. It is what it is. It went how it went,” AE stated. “I don’t wanna fight. I don’t initiate that sh**. N***as gettin’ money, n***as living they dreams. I ain’t about that but I’ma protect myself and my people. That’s it.”
Cher’s current boyfriend shared he has not spoken with Scott but reiterates that there was no bad blood, though he would not disclose how the fight began. Videos show several angles of the altercation. In one, it appears that Tyga and Scott are going at it. In another, blurry footage seems to show Southside and AE then fighting near a DJ booth.
Some have speculated that the fight began over Kylie Jenner. Tyga dated the model for several years and Scott has two children from her. However, this tale seems to be nothing more than fan fiction.
