Gypsy Rose Blanchard Has a Baby on the Way

Gypsy Rose Blanchard is pregnant! The Life After Lockup star took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce that she and her ex-fiancé Ken Urker are expecting their first baby together.

“We are proud to announce we are expecting our first child in January 2025,” Blanchard, 32, wrote in her post, showing off her baby bump as Urker, 31, cradled her stomach in sweet maternity shoot photos.

Blanchard provided more details about her pregnancy in a YouTube video, confirming the rumors that had been circulating. She opened up about the sleepiness and cravings she’s been experiencing at 11 weeks pregnant and admitted that the pregnancy was completely unplanned.

“This was not planned at all,” she shared, “but we’re both very excited to become parents.” She praised Urker for being “very gracious” and “very forgiving” as she deals with “crazy mood swings.”

The news comes just three months after Blanchard and Urker made headlines for rekindling their relationship amid her divorce from Ryan Anderson. The former spouses separated in March following Blanchard’s release from prison, where she served time for her role in the 2015 death of her abusive mother, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.

Gypsy Rose and Urker, who were previously engaged from 2018 to 2019 while she was in prison, were seen holding hands and kissing in public just a month after her release. Urker then moved to Louisiana to be closer to Blanchard, and their relationship has continued to grow stronger.
