An alleged Kim Porter “memoir” has taken the internet by storm, and now the author of this book has admitted he isn’t sure of its validity.

The 59-page book titled, “KIM’S LOST WORDS: A Journey for Justice, From the Other Side,” was self-published by Chris Todd, who released the book under the alias Jamal T. Millwood.  He does not have any other titles on Amazon, yet “KIM’S LOST WORDS” has become a bestseller.  The numerous typos in the book and egregious claims have not deterred people from taking the book at face value.  Todd finally broke his silence to Rolling Stone, confessing that he cannot be sure if anything in the publication is true.

“If somebody put my feet to the fire and they said, ‘Life or death, is that book real?’ I have to say I don’t know.  But it’s real enough to me,” Todd boldly told the outlet.  “Sometimes you have to just put it out there.  Maybe not 100% of the book is true, but maybe 80% is.  That is to get those people to come forward and either corroborate or deny [the claims], and that helps me as an investigator to know the truth.”

Todd claims to be a “producer, author and investigative journalist,” alleging to have solved many pop culture crimes, though none of his assertions can be substantiated.  He told the outlet that the “memoir” ended up in his hands shortly after Sean “Diddy” Combs settled with Cassie.  However, Todd would not say how or if he could fact-check any of the claims he made in the book.

Meanwhile, Porter’s family has slammed the book, maintaining that the model was not in the process of writing a book at the time of her death.  Porter’s close friends Kimora Lee Simmons and Lawanda Lane spoke with Rolling Stone in a joint statement, sharing that they “don’t know [the author] at all.” Another longtime friend of Porter’s, Eboni Elektra, shut down any notion of a book back in July, calling the rumor “blatant lies.” Her ex, Al. B Sure, the father of her son, Quincy, has also promised legal action against the book’s author.

Despite the outrage and likely lies, Todd refuses to remove the book.
