Halle Bailey has spoken out following her initial reaction to her son, Halo, appearing on Kai Cenat’s livestream alongside his father, rapper DDG.
“Yesterday, maybe I did overreact and shouldn’t have brought it here,” Bailey wrote, addressing her fans and followers. “I know that Halo is always safe with his dad. I just don’t like finding out with the rest of the world what my baby is doing.”
Bailey also took a moment to thank Kai Cenat for his gesture of kindness toward her son during the stream. “Thank u Kai for the gifts for Halo,” she added.
Wednesday, Bailey had deactivated her social media accounts after calling out DDG for featuring their son on Kai Cenat’s stream.
She expressed frustration when the YouTuber shared Halo on Cenat’s livestream Wednesday without her consent.
She explained that this triggered her postpartum struggles and asked for respect.
“As a woman experiencing severe postpartum, there are boundaries that I wish to be respected,” Halle tweeted. “No one knows what someone is going through until they snap.”
Her comments, however, sparked backlash from some fans online. Shortly after, Halle’s Instagram and X accounts were gone.
