Meek Mill is the latest to voice his opinion after reports surfaced of a lawsuit filed against Jay-Z, accusing him of raping a 13-year-old girl after the 2000 MTV Awards.
Jay-Z has denied the allegations, but the lawsuit has sparked a wave of public responses.
Recently, Jay-Z and attorney Tony Buzbee traded words in a public back-and-forth over the case. Many supporters back the music mogul, while others reserve judgment, calling for the victim to be heard until proven otherwise.
Meek Mill, however, took to X to share his thoughts on the false narratives in the industry, writing: “The goal is to start false narrative to create a matrix web … If you can control the storyline you can control the matrix … American media is totally unbelievable! I see ‘Jay-Z’ _____ a 13-year-old girl 300 times scrolling it’s called programming.”
