Trae Tha Truth’s heartbreaking efforts to be reunited with his daughter have taken an emotional turn as he released a new song, “Letter to Truth Pt. 2,” dedicated to the missing six-year-old.

The veteran rapper, who last saw his daughter in August, pours his pain and longing into the track, assuring Truth that everyone is looking for her.
Last week, Trae shared an Instagram post revealing that he was granted full custody of his daughter over the summer. However, after he dropped Truth off for a visit with her mother, Heather Cueva, in Houston, she was never returned. Since then, the Texas rapper claims the mother has moved between cities while working to alienate their daughter from him, allegedly by fabricating accusations of abuse. A warrant has since been issued for her arrest.
“I’m crushed,” Trae wrote in his post. “This ain’t Right Or Fair for fathers who really trying…. I’m only trying to Get my daughter who I Love Dearly!! I know God Got This and In The End He will Get The Glory… No matter How this Hurt me, I wish no ill on her momma… If you see her Contact me or any agency/investigator/CPS. They will return her home safely…”
Reports indicate the investigation now spans across the U.S. Anyone with information is urged to call 911 or the hotline at 1-877-972-2634. The Black and Missing Foundation has also shared Truth’s story on its website and social media platforms.
