Naomi Osaka and Cordae have officially called it quits after being together for four years.
The couple first got together in 2019, quickly becoming a fan-favorite duo. They welcomed their daughter, Shai, in July 2023, making headlines as they embraced parenthood.
On Monday, the Tennis star took to Instagram to share a story announcing the split.
“Hi everyone, just wanted to say that Cordae and I are no longer in a relationship. No bad blood at all, he’s a great person and an awesome dad. Honestly really glad our paths crossed because my daughter is my biggest blessing and I was able to grow a lot from our experiences together.”
Throughout their relationship, Cordae was often seen cheering Osaka on at her tennis matches, and the two regularly showed love to each other publicly.
Despite their breakup, Osaka made it clear there’s no bad blood, praising Cordae as a great person and a devoted dad. Both are now focused on co-parenting and moving forward in their lives.
