In an Instagram Live session this week, Kodak recounted a tense exchange with a woman who crossed the line by insulting his mom. “I remember this b***h said, ‘Oh, your mom probably used to suck a d**k.’ Like h*e, what?” he said, adding, “I pushed that h*e and s**t. I ain’t no woman beater but b***h […] I ain’t on that s**t.” He also clarified, “My momma don’t suck d**k. Not no more. My momma ain’t suck no d**k in a long time.”
This week’s incident recalled a bizarre moment from 2021 when Kodak stirred controversy at his birthday party by grabbing his mother’s rear and attempting to kiss her on the lips. The clip sparked confusion, prompting Kodak to explain himself in a video, saying, “When I see my mama, homie, I adore her, homie. I kiss her feet, homie, what you talkin’ bout boy?” He further added, “I treat my mama like my lady, n***a. That’s my queen, n***a.” However, his attempt to justify the behavior only escalated the unease when he remarked, “I grab her like I make her feel real beautiful. I remind my mama, ‘You beautiful, I’m f**ked up bout you ma, I’m in love with you.’”
The uncomfortable moment was visible in the original video, with his mother, Marcelene Octave, appearing uneasy as he tried to kiss her. Even Top Dawg Entertainment’s Terrence “Punch” Henderson, criticized Kodak’s actions, with Punch writing, “That young man Kodak is sick for touching his mother that way, and he needs help.”
