Just weeks after the Brotherhood Crusade pledged help for Altadena residents affected by the wildfires, they partnered with Cedric the Entertainer to give away Fiats to those who lost their vehicles in the disaster.

Cedric announced the news on Instagram, showing off the fleet of red vehicles. His Kyle’s Family Foundation and the Brotherhood Crusade gave away nine of the new cars to residents. The new owners waved proudly as they showed off the Fiat 500s.

The Brotherhood Crusade previously established the Wildfire Fund to Aid Altadena Residents to provide immediate relief to families impacted by the devastating Eaton Fire in Altadena and Pasadena. The initiative also seeks to preserve Altadena’s historical significance as a cultural and community hub for Black families.

“Many residents of Los Angeles County have suffered devastating losses, including loved ones, homes, and businesses, in the wildfires. Over 7,000 homes and businesses have been destroyed in the Altadena and Pasadena areas alone,” said Charisse Bremond Weaver, President/CEO of Brotherhood Crusade.

The Wildfire Fund provides housing assistance, food, clean water, transportation, medical aid, and other essential resources.

“This fund will remain open now and throughout 2026, allowing us to be responsive to ongoing needs and potential future fires,” said Bremond Weaver.
