Marcus Samuelsson to Put Women Chefs in the Spotlight With Curated Dinner Showcase

Chefs Marcus Samuelsson and Akino West are honoring women in the culinary world with a special dinner event at his acclaimed Red Rooster Overtown in Miami. The renowned chef is teaming up with McBride Sisters Wine to celebrate Women’s History Month by spotlighting local female chefs on March 18 at 6 p.m.

The exclusive dining experience will feature a curated menu from notable chefs, including Catherine Hinds, Christyna Salmon, Amaris Jones, and Tracey Marrioneaux. Guests can expect dishes like Indo-Trinidadian Doubles stuffed with curried chana and smoked jackfruit, Jamaican curry goat with plantain dumplings, herb butter branzino, and a pineapple cake with hibiscus sorbet.

In addition to the culinary experience, the evening will feature a raffle for a one-of-a-kind painting by a female artist and a custom-designed apparel piece from GrandOpening.

The event will also highlight brands like Breaking Bread and GrandOpening, adding to an evening that celebrates community, culture, and the artistry of women in the culinary world.

Tickets for the intimate, 50-person event are priced at $150 per person.
