Bow Wow is opening up about his ongoing issues with Omarion.
During a recent appearance on Cam Newton’s Funky Friday podcast, he made it clear that things aren’t good between the two.
“It’s complicated. I don’t want to talk (to him),” Bow Wow said, adding, “It’s nothing to talk about, not even in a bad way.”
Though Bow Wow kept things vague, he tried to explain where their relationship now stands: “It’s just when you lend your hand out and you try to be the bigger person—and try to rap—but you get no response,” he explained. “You go, ‘OK we’ll leave it right here.’ You do your thing, I do my thing, it ain’t no beef.”
Despite the tension, Bow Wow said he has no ill will towards Omarion and wishes him the best.
“We’ve been through this thing for so long,” he said. “He’s 40 and I’m 38. We don’t have to do that now. We got kids, we got our own lives. I wish you nothing but the best. The best revenge is time, you don’t even gotta do much.”
Earlier this year, Bow Wow publicly shut down any suggestion of talking things out with O.
“No I don’t.” When asked about the Millennium Tour—the same tour he and Omarion are on together—Bow Wow replied, “What tour?”
The drama might still be simmering, but Bow made it clear that he’s all about moving forward and focusing on the future.
