Kanye West, now known as Ye, has once again stirred controversy with his latest social media remarks regarding Diddy’s ongoing legal proceedings.
In a Saturday morning tweet, Ye expressed his disapproval of Kid Cudi’s decision to testify against Diddy, stating, “I wish Cudi hadn’t testified against Puff. We need to not be locked in white systems. Praying for Puff and his family. Praying for Puff Daddy and the Family”
Cudi, a former collaborator of Ye, recently took the stand in Diddy’s trial, alleging that the mogul orchestrated a Molotov cocktail attack on his Porsche in 2012 after discovering Cudi’s relationship with Diddy’s ex-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. Cudi also testified that Diddy broke into his home during that period.
Ye’s comments have drawn criticism, with many questioning his support for Diddy, who faces serious allegations including sex trafficking and racketeering. This is not the first time Ye has publicly supported the Bad Boy founder. Earlier this year, he called for Diddy’s release from jail, urging Donald Trump to intervene.Â
