The Atlanta rapper recently joined Adin Ross on his Kick livestream and had a moment of clarity: streaming might just be the next big bag. After hearing that Ross racks up $1 million, Thugger jokingly declared, “I’m gonna stop doing music and start streaming. I think I’m gonna stop. I’m telling you, I’m done rapping and gonna start streaming.”
While it sounded like a joke, Thug went on to say it’s not all about the cash. “Y’all live a cool life. Y’all go everywhere everyday. Y’all got cats wandering around this bitch. Y’all got all types of crazy stuff.”
And he’s not wrong. Adin Ross’ net worth is reportedly $24 million. iShowSpeed’s? Close to $10 million. Meanwhile, Thug, a chart-topping rapper with nearly a decade in the game, sits at an estimated $8 million.
But don’t hang up the headphones just yet. Before switching lanes, Thug still has music coming. His upcoming album “UY Scutti” is expected soon. He dropped “Money on Money” with Future back in April, likely a teaser of what’s to come. The album’s name? Inspired by a supergiant star 9,500 lightyears away.
Thug, who was released last October after pleading guilty in the YSL RICO case, is also set to perform at ComplexCon Las Vegas this fall alongside Peso Pluma, Central Cee, Ken Carson and more.
