Everyone’s heard about Antonio Brown’s attempted murder charge after that chaotic scene outside a celebrity boxing match in Miami.

But now, the man who says he was nearly killed is speaking out—and he’s not holding anything back.

Zul-Qarnain Kwame Nantambu, who says he’s known Brown since 2022, claims the former NFL star fired two shots at him during the altercation.

“He thought he would get a free kill,” Nantambu told The New York Post, referencing Florida’s “Stand Your Ground” law. “He plays gangster and plays the police at the same time, then he blames CTE.”

The incident, caught on both surveillance and cellphone footage, allegedly shows Brown throwing a punch, grabbing a gun from a security guard, and chasing Nantambu while firing. One bullet grazed Nantambu, who later identified Brown in the footage.

Their history is messy. Back in 2022, Nantambu says Brown stole a custom pendant during a trip to Dubai and even lied to police, leading to his brief arrest. Though Nantambu was awarded a $968,960 judgment, the case was later tossed.

“I don’t know if [Brown] premeditated a thought in his mind, like: ‘Okay, I’m gonna say that he tried to take my chain and I’m gonna kill him and I don’t have to pay him his judgment,’” stated Nantambu.

Brown is currently out on a $10,000 bond while the case plays out. Meanwhile, Nantambu says he’s lucky to be alive—and he’s done staying silent.
