Nick Cannon Admits He Hopes His Daughters Never Date Men Like Him [Video]

Nick Cannon had a moment of awkwardness during his June 19 appearance on “The Really Good Podcast” with Bobbi Althoff when asked to name all 12 of his children.

While discussing his reasons for having such a large family, Cannon explained, “I don’t want no wives, I just want kids,” comparing himself to King Solomon. He admitted he doesn’t know if more children are in his future: “I don’t know what God and the universe have in store for me.”

Later in the interview, Cannon shared how his daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin Cannon, “cries in surround sound,” prompting Althoff to ask him to name all his kids. Cannon laughed, “You want all 12? This is where I usually get in trouble… I know all of ’em, but can you rattle off just 12 of anything?”

After dodging the question and challenging Althoff to name 12 states, he attempted to list his children: “There’s Roc, Roe, Golden, Powerful, Rise, Onyx, Legendary, Zion, Zillion, Zen, and…” He paused before admitting, “See this is where I, uh…” Finally, he added the last two names: Beautiful and Halo Marie Cannon.

“There’s a song, and I was like, I don’t want to do that,” Cannon said of the method he sometimes uses to remember their names. “I wrote a verse that had all their names in it, and I just, sometimes I recite that.”
