If you’ve been on social media lately, then you’ve seen the heat that Season 7 of Love Island USA is catching.

The drama started after Sunday night’s elimination sent Jeremiah Brown and Hannah Fields packing and fans did not hold back online.

The backlash got so intense that Peacock dropped a message during Tuesday’s episode, reminding everyone what the show is actually about.

“The keyword in Love Island is… LOVE. We love our fans. We love our Islanders. We don’t love cyberbullying, harassment or hate,” the statement read.

The official Love Island USA account also echoed that warning on X, telling fans to chill with the hate and remember that the Islanders are “real people.”

“We appreciate the fans, the passion for the series, and the amazing group of Islanders who are sharing their summer with us,” they posted. “Please just remember they’re real people — so let’s be kind and spread the love!”

It didn’t stop there. Even Jeremiah’s ex, former contestant Huda Mustafa, got dragged into the drama.

Her ex-boyfriend, Noah Sheline, hopped on TikTok to defend her from the online attacks.

“At the end of the day I hope everyone remembers we’re human,” he said in a video earlier this month. “Her going on that show to find love, or whatever you think it was she’s doing, remember she’s still human, she has a daughter, and a life.”

Host Ariana Madix  also used her platform to speak directly to the viewers during the June 21 Aftersun episode. “There’s such a great, amazing communal experience when it comes to watching the show, but I do want to say something to some of those people who are online,” she said. “Don’t be contacting people’s families. Don’t be doxxing people. Don’t be going on Islanders’ pages and saying rude things.”

She wrapped it up with a warning and PSA, saying, “Because this is a fun, amazing, beautiful show, and we should be thanking each one of these Islanders every single day for giving us themselves. Be nice. Please be nice, or I’ll come find you.”
