I don’t know who Aldon Smith thinks he is but he’s no Big Meech or Larry Hoover, that’s for sure! The Santa Clara County District Attorney has filed three felony charges of possession of assault weapons against 49ers linebacker.
Smith is facing two civil lawsuits after two guests at his house party were shot in June 2012. It wasn’t exactly specified that Aldon Smith was the shooter but party-goers want him held responsible since the incident happened at his home. Smith was also stabbed during the altercation.
Smith is already on an indefinite leave from the Niners and has entered a treatment facility stemming from his September arrest after being involved in a one car accident and charged driving under the influence and possession of marijuana.
The 49ers have issued the following statement: “The 49ers organization is aware of the recent developments with Aldon arising from an incident at his home in 2012. We recognize the serious nature of this situation, as does Aldon, and will continue to monitor it closely. As this is an ongoing legal matter, we will have no further comment.”
It’s obvious at this point that Aldon Smith just can’t get right.
