Singer Mario is entering fatherhood, and he couldn’t be happier.
The “Let Me Love You” star shared the exciting news on his Instagram Story this week, revealing his girlfriend Esmeralda Rios’ baby bump. While Rios’ face was not shown, the photo featured her glowing in a neon pink outfit, with Mario captioning, “It’s a whole universe in there! I can’t wait.”
Though Rios has since made her Instagram private, fans quickly caught wind of the reveal. One social media post shows Mario kissing her belly, solidifying the moment of joy between the couple.
Back in December 2024, during an interview with Angela Yee, Mario referred to Rios as his “safe place” and added, “She’s a good person. I trust her.” He also confirmed she is Mexican and noted their bond was built on trust and positive energy.
When critics questioned his dating preferences last year, Mario stood firm, saying, “I like good energy and who loves me the way that’s healthy. Could be Black, white, Mexican, alien… I dated an alien before, it was great.”
It’s unknown when the couple will welcome their bundle of joy, but it appears they are overjoyed about starting their family.
