Latto collaborated with Offset on the record “Fine as Can Be,” spitting the notable line, “That n***a munch,” a bar fans tied to Ice Spice’s breakout hit “Munch (Feelin’ U).”
2024
In January, Ice Spice released “Think U the S**t (Fart),” which included the line: “I got my foot on they necks, I can’t let up. She all on the floor told her, ‘Get up.’” Fans again speculated this was a response to Latto’s “Put It on Da Floor.”
Later that month, Latto shared a snippet of her song “Sunday Service” on X, formerly known asTwitter, with Ice Spice’s music video playing in the background. In the song, she rapped, “Think I’m the s***? B***h, I know it h**. Jesus walked on water, I got ice boilin’ though.” This line mirrored Ice Spice’s earlier lyrics, leaving little room for speculation.
In February, during a Complex interview, Ice Spice addressed the rising tension: “I was like ‘This has to be fake, this AI,’ but b***hes be bold, so I was like, ‘Alright, we’re being bold today.’”
In May, Ice Spice dropped the “Gimmie A Light” video, which appeared to respond to the ongoing feud. She rapped, “Like b***h be losin’ the plot, and that’s how I go to the top. And no, I don’t got any opps, like why would I beef with a flop?”
