Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback Michael Vick issued a statement in regards to Eagles WR Riley Cooper’s racial slur video incident. Michael understands what it is like to be scrutinized in the public and he was being a team player towards his teammate in need of forgiveness. NOW that does not mean that we have to like it or agree, but we know how his little brother Marcus really feels about the incident. Marcus stated that his twitter account would be deleted by his girl and that he was logging off for good.
Yeah right! His twitter account was never deactivated and he jumped back on to tell his haters how he felt. Let’s just assume that Michael picked up the phone to inform his little brother that what he tweeted was not allowed, because certain tweets were deleted on Marcus’s timeline. This is a case of knowing when to TWEET and when to just keep your thoughts to yourself. As a family member of a prominent athlete, you have to remember that what you do affects his or her image as well. So family let’s keep it cool and just discuss these type of matters at the dinner table!
