There are many holes in this story that it’s hard to keep up. Here’s what I could gather from reports. New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is being sued for allegedly shooting his friend in the face following an altercation at a Miami strip club.
According to the lawsuit, Hernandez and Alexander S. Bradley went to Tootsie’s Cabaret in Miami on February 13, 2013. At some point the two men got into an argument. Bradley claims after the argument both men got into the same car and left the club for Palm Beach. It was during the ride that Bradley claims Hernandez aimed his weapon at him. Not saying whether it was intentional or not, but the gun discharged, striking Bradley in the face.
Bradley claims he suffered major injuries from the gunshot including the loss of his right eye and had to have major reconstructive surgery to his face and surgery to his right hand and arm.
The lawsuit was filed June 13, just 5 days before police searched Hernandez’s home in connection to a homicide (which appears to be unrelated). Bradley was suing for $100,000 but just four days after the lawsuit, the case was dismissed. Cops tell TMZ … ever since the incident, Bradley has been extremely uncooperative with investigators — and has refused to identify his assailant … until he pointed the finger at Hernandez in his lawsuit, which he filed last week.
