Baller Alert sat down with Monyetta Shaw to discuss her newly released, self-published book, “Bigger Than Me,” dating life and so much more.
In “Bigger Than Me,” Monyetta was sure to point out that it wasn’t a tell-all novel, but more of a book to inspire other women who may have gone through a situation similar to hers. “It’s an inspirational, motivational book. I just wrote it to encourage people who are possibly going through what I went through. You know, any kind of hurt, break ups, anything in your life that really heart you.”
During our discussion, Monyetta points out that it was her fans and followers that really solidified the fact that she needed to write her book. She recalls a woman who had four children and found it difficult to get out of bed after a break up. Monyetta would call her, pray with her and chat with her in DM’s until she was finally able to get through it. Monyetta also says that fans of VH1’s Atlanta Exes also watched the show and told her that they made some major life changes after hearing her story.
