Four students have been arrested after another student was found dead of a suspected overdose at a Texas A&M frat house.

Samuel Patterson, Michael Frymire, Christian Sandford, and Ty Robertson, we’re all taken into police custody after authorities were called at around 5 a.m. Saturday morning. The suspected students range from ages 18 to 21.

The police had been called to the scene just hours before for a reported noise complaint. “On Friday evening, at about 8:45 p.m. an officer responded to the fraternity, he noted there were about 50 to 60 people in attendance at a party, he issued a warning to one of the gentleman that was later arrested,” Sgt. Steven Taylor of the College Station Police said.

An array of drugs, including LSD, Ecstasy, and THC were all discovered by police inside the Sigma Nu chapter house. According to investigators, they believe that the suspects attempted to move the body in an effort to cover up the drugs.

While investigators have not yet released the name of the deceased, he is believed to be a 19 year-old student from North Texas.

While chapter members have declined to comment on the incident, one neighbor spoke with local news stations to express his sentiments for the fraternity.” I can’t imagine that raid was anything but a disaster for their fraternity. It’s going to be rough, I can’t imagine this is going to be good news for them,” he stated.

The National fraternity released the following statement in response to the incident. “Our hearts are filled with sorrow as we grieve the loss of this young man. Our thoughts, prayers and deepest condolences are with his family and loved ones.”
