Another Chicago Man Charged In The Murder Of Tyshawn Lee

In November 2, 2015, nine year old Tyshawn Lee was repeatedly shot, execution style in Chicago, while on his way to his grandmother’s house. His death was in retaliation to an ongoing gang war involving a rival gang his father is affiliated with, a claim his father denies. According to reports, 22 year old Dwight Boone-Doty lured the 9 year old into an alley before murdering him. On Monday, Boone-Doty  was charged with Lee’s murder.

Boone-Doty was also charged with the murder of a 19-year-old woman killed weeks earlier — also gang retaliation.  Boone-Doty has been in police custody since late November on unrelated gun charges. 

Investigators say Dwight Boone-Doty lured Tyshawn Lee to the alley by promising to take him to the store. He then shot him at close range. Murder charges were previously brought up against 27 year old Corey Morgan for his role in the incident. 

Hopefully the police catch all of those involved.
