Tis the season to be jolly..but for some of you it will be filled with tears. Sorry to be so frank but December 25th is a true test if the man you are dating is really into you. If a man tells you they don’t celebrate Christmas..you set them straight and tell them you celebrate it and it’s important to you and you expect them to acknowledge it. A lot of men become Muslim during the month of December just for this reason. SMH
I have heard many stories and I have been a victim. I remember I was dating this dude and Sunflower perfume was the shit….*snicker* I went to visit him on Christmas and he gave me a Sunflower box set. I peeped in his room and saw five other Sunflower box sets. I questioned him about it and he started stuttering. I then knew that I was not the only one. I ain’t trip…moving on.
Here are some signs that you are not the one on Xmas:
1. He disappears. If you don’t hear from him on Christmas chances are he doesn’t like you like that.
2. If he doesn’t show up to your house until 11pm you are a booty call. Even on Christmas he wants some booty.
3. If he starts a fight on the 23rd over something petty so he doesn’t have to get you anything.
4. If he complains about Christmas being a commercial holiday and how he won’t let “the man” trick him into shopping.
5. How Christmas is just for the kids.
6. You get a Merry Christmas broadcast text message from him.
7. He doesn’t bother to ask you what you want for Christmas.
8. If he has kids he wants to sleep over his baby mother house Christmas Eve so his kids can wake up to him. This can be tricky but trust your gut…
9. He goes out of town and doesn’t invite you.
10. You call him and his wife answers the phone.
