Ciara Talks Relationship With Russell Wilson & Struggling With Abstinence – blogged by @LoveRubyWoo

While Ciara’s relationship with her ex Future has completely soured, especially in light of her recent decision to sue him for slander, the singer’s relationship with her quarterback boo Russell Wilson is stronger than ever.

Ciara spoke to Cosmopolitan magazine this week and divulged some details of her love life with Russell, as well as how the whole no-sex thing is going. 

When it comes to abstaining from sex, Ciara admits that it’s not easy:

“It’s going pretty good. We’re hanging in there. I’m not gonna lie. I’m human, so it is not easy, especially when I look at him and I think he is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen — that I’ve ever laid my eyes on, to be honest. I’m like, Look the other way! Look the other way!”

She also clarified exactly what they’re allowed and not allowed to do under the abstinence pact:

“You get to hug and you get to have a nice good kiss, but you have to be careful not to go too far so you don’t end up in the place you’re trying to avoid being in.” 

But despite how hard it can be sometimes, Ciara recognizes the benefits that abstaining from sex has had on their relationship:

“He’s such an awesome guy and the cool thing is that every day, we’re growing with each other. We get to have really healthy conversations and focus on each other as people. That is very important to me and him. It’s very valuable. We’re just enjoying ourselves and going one day at a time and praying and staying positive. Being strong here!”

While many people criticize Ciara and Russell for their decision to abstain from sex until marriage, they are not letting any of that get to their heads. After almost a year of dating, they are still standing firm with their decision and if anything, it seems like it’s making their relationship even stronger.
