Ladies, there are many things we can control in our lives, but when it comes to makeup, it’s always a hit or miss. Who wants to sacrifice a beat face because the unexpected happened? I’ve come up with a few cool hacks that will help you get over any beauty dilemma.
1. If foundation is running low, mix what little you have left with your concealer.
2. If you want light coverage, but don’t have a tinted moisturizer or CC cream, mix a couple of drops of your foundation or concealer with a primer, and apply it to your face. Still set with a powder.
3. Ballin’ on a budget? A 99 cent liner can be used for eyebrows, eyeliner, and a lip.
4. Want a nude lip? But no nude lippie? Use a little bit of concealer mixed with lip gloss to get a nude finish. Complete the look with a lip liner to add depth.
5. Want a matte finish over your lipstick? Put a piece of tissue over your lips and apply translucent powder over top.
6. Itching for a change but you fear damage from hair color? Go old school. Use Kool-aid for a temporary rinse. There are a ton of YouTube tutorials online.
7. Apply eye shadow to lips and top with gloss for a quick color lippie. The possibilities are endless.
8. Use mascara as liner, if you don’t have any. Just dip your eyeliner brush in your mascara tube and apply.
9. Apply baby powder to lashes after your first mascara application for longer lashes. Apply another coat of mascara after powder, it will adhere to the powder and make lashes appear fuller and longer.
10. Apply frost color eye shadow in center of lips for a fuller looking pout. Add on top of your favorite lip color for dynamic look.
11. Did you know you could use red Kool-aid, or any color rather, for a unique lip stain? Simply dip your finger in the pouch and pat on moisturized lips. Top with gloss for shine, or Chapstick for slight moisture.
