Donald Trump Says He Doesn’t Need Support From Jay Z Or J.Lo

In light of Jay-Z’s “Get Out and Vote” show in Cleveland, Ohio to help Hillary Clinton rally young voters, Donald Trump has something to say.

Apparently, the Republican presidential nominee feels he doesn’t need the biggest entertainers in the world to help him in the last days of the race. However, as Clinton continues to take the stage with celebrity favorites, the millennials and minorities needed to impact the democratic vote seem to be on board. According to Billboard, the Democrat’s campaign has hosted several concerts to encourage young people to vote. Bon Jovi, alongside R&B singer, Neyo rallied for Clinton in North Carolina. In Miami, singer/actress Jennifer Lopez showed young voters that she is with her, while Stevie Wonder performed in Philadelphia.

Friday night (Nov. 4), the Democratic presidential nominee took the stage with the industry’s favorite power couple, Jay-Z and Beyonce. Clinton used the platform to ask thousands of fans for their votes.

“Please take this energy out with you,” she said. “Help us win Ohio.”

However, Clinton’s campaign to reel in the youth is not over.  Clinton plans to host another concert with Katy Perry, Saturday night (Nov 5.) in Philadelphia. Immediately after that she plans to return back to Cleveland to take the stage with LeBron James. Then on Monday, Clinton will wrap up with a joint rally with President Barack Obama and first lady Michelle Obama, back in Philadelphia.

On the other hand, Trump hasn’t reeled in several big name celebrities. However, he has delivered messages to minorities, in an effort to snag their votes.

“We will give every parent in America the right to send their kids to the school of their choice, including millions of low-income African American and Hispanic children who have been failed, so long — for generations in fact — by the Democratic politicians like Hillary Clinton,” Trump said during the weekly Republican address. “I didn’t have to bring J-Lo or Jay Z,” Trump said on Friday. “I am here all by myself. Just me. No guitar, no piano, no nothing,” he said.

Although, Trump bragged about standing alone, the reasoning behind it seems to be his decisiveness. Not that it was a choice, but, perhaps, he has been abandoned. While, the A-list celebrities line up in support of Clinton, so do the top political surrogates of the Democratic party. Meanwhile, Trump’s campaign has divided the Republican party, Billboard reports.
