Let’s Talk: Fellas, Are Your Friends a Bad Influence On You?

Let’s say your girl is everything you could ever want in a partner — but she hates your friends and you have no idea why. In order to maintain a healthy relationship, you must recognize harmful people and their habits early. So fellas, here are a few ways to recognize whether or not your friends may be a bad influence. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Your energy changes when they’re around. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Your friends should bring out your best self. If your friends drink or smoke too much, gossip, lack vision or act like animals, you’re likely to develop the same behaviors. Your friends should never leave you feeling burned out. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

They’re not supportive. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Whether it’s a graduation, party or another special occasion, it’s always nice to have your true friends enjoy the moment with you. It’s not realistic for people to make every event, but if your friends rarely show up to anything, they’re probably not for you. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

You wouldn’t want to be them ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

If they’re not ambitious, rarely want to try new things and all other things mentioned in this article, just move on. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

These qualities don’t mean you should get rid of your friends, but try to find new ones with similar interests and — most importantly — always be mindful of the things you dedicate time to.
