The problem with most relationships is that people are so quick to put a title on their relationship rather than actually getting to know the person.
Nowadays, people assume they’re going to live the fairytale life without actually taking the time to learn about your soon-to-be significant other.
When trying to get to know someone, find out their likes and dislikes. Find out their future goals for their career as well as their thoughts on marriage or children. You don’t want to continue to pursue someone that doesn’t have the same goals as you.
Spending time with someone will show you their true self. You can tell whether or not you can stand to be in their presence. Rushing to call someone your husband, wife, girlfriend, or boyfriend seems too premature.
Take the time to figure out if the person has the same qualities as you. If not, then don’t continue to waste time on someone that isn’t worth your time.
Relationships take time, especially if you are looking for a long term relationship. No rushing, ladies and gents!
