Earlier this month, 29-year-old Parisa Siddiqi was shot to death at a busy Southern California mall by her ex-husband and celebrity realtor, Kevin Crane.
The incident occurred inside a retail store at The Oaks mall, where Siddiqi worked. After fatally shooting his ex-wife and mother of his kids, investigators say Crane turned the gun on himself. Although Crane survived the shooting, he was hospitalized in critical condition.

Now though, almost 10 days after the deadly shooting, new details about Siddiqi’s relationship with Crane and his family have been released. In fact, Siddiqi feared she would be gunned down at work, but not by her ex-husband – by his mother.

According to the @blast, Siddiqi filed a restraining order against her “ex-mother-in-law-law,” Sheila Gregory, just 16 days before the fatal shooting. In the docs obtained by the publication, Siddiqi said she had been having problems with her ex and in-laws over the custody of their two sons.

“She (Gregory) told her son (Crane) if I kept my kids away from her that, that would be the end of me, and she will make sure she gets custody of them, after ‘the end’ of me,” Siddiqi wrote in her declaration, as she continued with details of Gregory’s actions.

“You don’t know who she really is…she does a lot of bad things,” Gregory reportedly told Siddiqi’s manager at her job. According to Siddiqi, the woman even reportedly went to her kids’ school to “get copies of documents,” however, the school denied that claim.

“My kids also need to be in this order, because she harassed me, the next day she went to their school without my knowledge. I feel that because she is not in her right mind towards me that my kids will also be in danger with her contact,” Siddiqi continued in her declaration. “I feel unsafe at my house and job every day because I feel that she will come and cause harm to my family.”

On the other hand though, Gregory told the publication that Siddiqi’s claims were all “lies,” as Siddiqi reportedly told her ex-husband that she planned to drop the order the day after it was followed. However, she is cooperating with police in the wake of the tragedy.
