Tragedy struck on Friday morning in Midtown Manhattan after a woman jumped to her death with her seven-year-old son.
The incident occurred around 8:15 a.m. at the Gotham Hotel, amid a custody battle between Stephanie Adams, 47, and her chiropractic ex.

According to the New York Post, Adams and her son, Vincent, checked into the hotel around 6 p.m. the night before and made themselves comfortable in the 25th-floor penthouse suite. However, more than 12 hours later, the bodies of the former Playboy Playmate and her son were found on a second-floor landing of the hotel’s back courtyard.

Although, it remains unclear if Playboy’s Miss November 1992 left a suicide note, sources say she was involved in a nasty custody battle with her estranged husband, Charles Nicolai. In fact, his lawyer recently ordered her to turn over their child’s passport.
