On Thursday, #EvelynLozada filed a lawsuit against her ex-publicist, Danika Berry, for allegedly spreading rumors about her to her “Basketball Wives” co-stars for more airtime. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In the suit obtained by The Blast, Lozada accused her longtime friend and former publicist of defamation, claiming Berry made comments about Lozada and her ex-husband, Chad Johnson.

The two had been friends for a while until their blowup on Lozada’s reality show, “Livin Lozada,” which occurred sometime in 2016, four years after Lozada filed for divorce over claims of domestic violence. But, according to the reality star, since their falling out, Berry has been bad mouthing her to several people in the industry.

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In fact, Lozada cites several instances where Berry fed information to the press about her, including an incident where Berry allegedly told the media Lozada was having a secret affair with a New Orleans music mogul during her marriage to Johnson. Apparently, the lies were published on February 2018, which prompted Lozada to file a cease and desist against the publicist, but the alleged defamation continued.

Lozada says Berry told “Basketball Wives” veteran Tami Roman that Lozada was the aggressor in the incident with Johnson that led to their split. But, Lozada says that isn’t true. In fact, she claims the lies were all part of Berry’s ploy to ruin her reputation when Roman brought the claims to national television.

As a result, Lozada is suing for unspecified damages. However, according to the publication, Berry says, “she has no knowledge of the lawsuit or the allegations within it. She is not a viewer of the show and is not aware of any storylines.”
