Well, it looks like Jim Jones is facing a handful of charges after leading cops on a chase.
Jim Jones,41, was in the backseat of a car with a group of friends when they led Georgia police on a chase instead of pulling their vehicle over, according to TMZ. The vehicle ended up stopping after striking a deputy’s vehicle.
The Coweta Police searched the vehicle that Jones and three other passengers were in and discovered marijuana, Percocet, Oxycodone, Vape Cartridges, THC Oil, and two loaded pistols. One of the guns that was found in the vehicle was reported stolen.
According to TMZ, Jones and the other three passengers denied having the items in their possession. But, Jones did state that he had a prescription for the Oxycodone and the Percocet.
Jones was charged with three felonies: possession of stolen gun, possession of a firearm during commission of a crime, and possession of narcotics.
The “We Fly High” rapper received a misdemeanor for the prescription not being in its original container and was released on a $7,000 bond.
