It’s safe to say that we all are pretty much in a reality TV show and the U.S. government is the cast. On the latest episode of “Fake Politicians of D.C.,” DonaldTrump went into a Twitter fury tearing down former White House aid Omarosa Manigault Newman after she released a secret conversation the two had.
On Monday, the “Today” show exclusively played a tape Newman claims was recorded back in 2017 and includes a conversation with Trump telling Newman he was shocked she was fired from his administration. “Omarosa? Omarosa what’s going on? I just saw on the news that you’re thinking about leaving? What happened?” Trump is heard saying on the tape. Newman says the conversation happened when Trump called her the day after she was let go.
As the recording continues, she responds, “General Kelly came to me and said that you guys wanted me to leave.” Trump replies, “Nobody even told me about it.” Seemingly shocked Newman says, “Wow,” before Trump explained, “You know they run a big operation, but I didn’t know it. I didn’t know that. Goddamn it. I don’t love you leaving at all.” Newman says she has more recordings but doesn’t know when she plans to release them.
In response, Trump ran to Twitter to express his thoughts on the scandal and Newman. “Wacky Omarosa, who got fired 3 times on the Apprentice, now got fired for the last time. She never made it, never will. She begged me for a job, tears in her eyes, I said Ok. People in the White House hated her. She was vicious, but not smart. I would rarely see her but heard….” He continued calling Newman a “lowlife” and a “loser.”
Newman isn’t done with Trump just yet, she apparently spills several other details about Trump in her book “Unhinged: An Insider’s Account of the Trump White House.” On Saturday, TMZ caught up Newman where she added that she believes Trump is a racist who wants to start a race war. In an audio outtake of “The Apprentice”, she claims he can be heard using the “n-word.”
