Former “The Parkers” star, Countess Vaughn has been granted an order of protection against her longtime boyfriend over claims of abuse.
In new court docs obtained by TMZ, Vaughn claims she’s been a victim of physical, verbal and emotional abuse at the hands of boyfriend, David Benjamin Richard.
She says Richard has slapped, beat, strangled and sexual assaulted her throughout their 10-year relationship, and most recently tossed a bleach in her face over advancements in her career as an actress.
Vaughn claims her boyfriend has been insecure about her career, and as a result, has taken his frustration out on her, threatening to leak explicit videos of her. In fact, she says he has even threatened to kill her on multiple occasions.
The two have one child together, but she says she is scared for her life, as well as the safety of her child. As a result, a L.A. judge signed off on the order, now, Richard will have to stay 100 yards away from her and her children, until next month’s hearing.
