Social media personality Kat Stacks is drawing backlash after posting a series of videos in which she reportedly said that Black people cannot spell and used the word ghetto to describe Black people.
The remarks drew criticism from fans and followers online, many of whom pushed back on the idea that a whole group of people could be described that way. Kat Stacks has not responded to the criticism in anything Baller Alert has seen.
Baller Alert’s take: broad statements about an entire race are rarely accurate and tend to say more about the person making them than the people they describe. Reaction online has been strong, and we will update this story if she responds.
