Slutty Vegan Founder Pinky Cole Faces Possible Foreclosure After Mortgage Company Claims She Owes Over $164K on Georgia Home

Slutty Vegan founder and “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Pinky Cole is facing another financial setback after a mortgage company accused her of missing months of payments on a Georgia rental property, potentially putting the home at risk of foreclosure.

According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Selene Finance LP filed a motion in Cole’s ongoing bankruptcy case on Thursday, October 22, claiming the entrepreneur owes more than $164,000 on a three-bedroom, two-bathroom property in the Atlanta area.

The company alleges Cole has not made a mortgage payment since December 2025. Now, the lender wants permission from the bankruptcy court to pursue collection measures that could eventually result in the property being foreclosed upon.

However, no foreclosure has been finalized, and Cole’s legal team is pushing back against the company’s latest move.

Her attorney, Jamie Christy, clarified that the property is an investment rather than Cole’s primary residence.

“This property is not Pinky’s home, but rather, a rental property. The property is being treated in the bankruptcy plan.”

Christy also criticized the timing of the lender’s filing, suggesting the company acted prematurely while Cole continues working through her financial restructuring.

“This was an impulsive move by the servicer and the motion is being reset. The focus should be on Pinky righting her finances and growing her business to fund her plan of reorganization.”

The latest dispute adds another complication to Cole’s efforts to regain financial stability following a turbulent period for her restaurant empire and personal investments.

Cole, whose legal name is Aisha Cole, filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in February 2026 after accumulating substantial debts connected to her business ventures.

Initial court filings revealed approximately .2 million owed to the U.S. Small Business Administration and another $192,000 in outstanding Georgia state taxes.

Chapter 11 bankruptcy allows individuals and businesses to reorganize their financial obligations under court supervision rather than immediately liquidating their assets. It also generally prevents creditors from independently pursuing certain collection actions without authorization from the bankruptcy court.

That protection is particularly relevant to Cole’s current situation because Selene Finance is requesting permission to proceed with potential remedies against the property.

This is not the first time the entrepreneur has battled a creditor over her Georgia real estate holdings.

In March, Cole successfully fought to regain control of a six-bedroom rental home in Loganville after Guardian Asset Management seized the property, changed its locks, and posted a notice indicating it was being managed for a potential sale.

Her attorneys argued that the seizure violated bankruptcy protections and prevented Cole from generating rental income needed to repay creditors.

A federal bankruptcy judge ultimately sided with Cole and ordered the property returned to her control. The court also awarded legal fees and costs connected to the creditor’s actions.

However, additional financial documents filed in June offered a closer look at the extent of Cole’s financial challenges.

According to WSB-TV, her proposed bankruptcy reorganization plan listed approximately $6,000 in monthly income, with more than $4,200 allocated to living expenses and financial obligations.

Those expenses included childcare, groceries, transportation, medical costs, and payments toward state and federal taxes.

After those deductions, Cole projected roughly $1,500 in monthly disposable income to support her repayment plan.

The filings also indicated she intended to surrender several Georgia properties as part of her broader debt restructuring, including real estate in McDonough, Decatur, Loganville, and Atlanta.

Her personal financial problems follow a dramatic reversal for Slutty Vegan, the plant-based restaurant company she launched in 2018.

What began as a small Atlanta food operation developed into a nationally recognized brand, attracting celebrity supporters, major investors, and attention from the business community.

At one point, Slutty Vegan reached a reported valuation of $100 million. However, aggressive expansion, rising operating expenses, and mounting debt eventually threatened the company’s future.

Cole previously revealed that the business accumulated approximately $20 million in debt before undergoing a major restructuring in 2025.

She temporarily lost control of the company during that process but later reacquired the business and began rebuilding it under a new strategy.

The entrepreneur has continued pursuing opportunities to revive Slutty Vegan, including restructuring operations and exploring franchising.

Her financial struggles also became part of her public profile when she joined Season 17 of Bravo’s “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” introducing reality television audiences to another side of her life beyond the restaurant industry.

Despite her professional accomplishments and public visibility, the ongoing bankruptcy proceedings have placed several of Cole’s financial obligations and investment properties under increased scrutiny.
