The streets of Miami caught up with influencer boxer DeenTheGreat Wednesday morning — and this time, there were no referees to stop the action. According to jail records obtained by TMZ, the content creator, born Nurideen Shahid Shabazz, was booked at the Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami-Dade County on a felony charge of robbery/strongarm/attempt, with bond still listed as “to be set” at the time of reporting.
Per the police report, a woman named Destiny Aleman told officers that Deen allegedly tried snatching her phone after she was removed from a yacht. She claimed the situation escalated because other men were speaking to her, despite Deen allegedly warning her not to entertain anyone else. According to her account, once she stepped off the yacht, Deen grabbed her forearm and attempted to take the device, leaving a minor scratch on her arm in the process.
It didn’t stop there. The owner of the yacht voluntarily handed over Ring camera footage, which cops say showed Deen yelling for someone to grab the woman’s phone and make sure she wasn’t recording him — before allegedly putting his hands on her multiple times as she tried to get away. The footage reportedly showed her curling up on the ground while trying to protect the phone before eventually breaking free.
The arrest comes at a time when DTG’s profile has been rising fast in the influencer space. The Tampa-born creator made his pro boxing debut in 2022, racking up victories on the Misfits Boxing circuit and building a loyal fanbase through high-energy livestreams, internet beefs, and viral content across YouTube and TikTok. Most recently, he claimed a 7–0 professional boxing record with eight knockouts — though his first professional loss came via unanimous decision in December 2025 against Amado Vargas at Misfits Mania in Dubai.
Just the night before his arrest, Deen was still in full streamer mode, going live with Tekashi 6ix9ine — a collab that, in hindsight, may have been a preview of the kind of Wednesday he was about to have.
