DJ Akademiks is accusing Meek Mill of visiting a “voodoo lady” to put a 120 day timer on him, and he dropped the Meek Mill voodoo claim right under Meek’s latest post about people losing their minds.
Meek posted on X that something is going on where a lot of people are losing themselves mentally, then asked his followers if they could see it too. He did not name anyone. Ak took it personally anyway.
Moron u went to a voodoo lady over me ending ur career 2 weeks ago and gave me a timer (120 days),” Akademiks wrote in a quote tweet before turning the question back on Meek: “u don’t think YOU losing it?
The timer goes back to late September. Meek posted and then deleted a tweet saying Akademiks was “playing with the wrong spirits” and that something would happen to him without Meek lifting a finger. “This gone be his life lesson… give him 120 days sit back… I won’t speak on him again!” Meek wrote. That post came after Meek accused Ak of speaking on his child dying.
Meek’s deleted post did not mention a voodoo practitioner, a spiritual adviser or any kind of ritual. The Meek Mill voodoo angle is Ak’s read on the “wrong spirits” line, and nothing has surfaced showing Meek visited anyone.
This round is the latest in a feud that reignited after Lil Durk was found not guilty in his federal murder for hire case. Meek blamed Ak for fueling petty rap beefs that spill into the streets and told his followers to mute him. Ak answered by leaking DMs he says came from Meek, including one that read, “Ima [expletive] on you when I see you and take the charge.” Meek posted screenshots of his own, claiming they showed Ak messaging him nonstop and clipping his videos for days. From there, Ak questioned Meek’s sexuality and showed off his gun collection online.
On September 22, Ak said Meek had blocked him on Instagram and deleted the messages he called threats. “The 120 days window countdown is on,” Ak wrote. “My boy covering his tracks I respect it.”
The bad blood is not new. The two have clashed since 2015, when Ak sided with Drake during Meek’s beef with the Toronto rapper and Meek told him to stop posting about him. In early 2025, Meek urged parents to block Ak from their kids’ phones after a viral clip showed the streamer in an inappropriate conversation with a 15 year old.
Meek’s 120 days run out in mid January.
