ESPN reported Tuesday afternoon that Alabama linebacker Ryan Anderson was arrested after officers responded to a domestic dispute call late Monday night.
According to the Tuscaloosa Police arrest report cited by ESPN, Anderson and a 20 year old woman named Sierra were both arrested after the dispute. Officers wrote that, after speaking with witnesses, they learned Sierra keyed and threw change at Anderson’s vehicle and that Anderson then kicked her vehicle. Both vehicles were reportedly damaged, and neither person showed signs of physical injury.
Both were charged with third degree domestic violence and criminal mischief, and bond was set at $500. Those were charges at the time of the arrest, not a finding of guilt.
Anderson played in all 14 games for the Crimson Tide in 2014.
