Alec Baldwin tells hater to “shut the f*** up about him and his wife having another child.
Baldwin, 62, has welcomed his sixth child just six months after their fifth child, and now people online are pointing their noses in Baldwin’s business. Baldwin isn’t here for it.
On Monday, Baldwin’s wife, Hilaria, posted the joyous news on Instagram with the caption “7.” Hilaria, 37, didn’t allow any comments on her page, but Baldwin reposted the post on his page, with the caption “mi vida.” Not long after, someone came into the comments questioning whether the couple used a surrogate for the sixth child as their fifth was only born six months.
“If it was a surrogate just say that,” the person said. “If the baby was adopted just say that. If the baby was a product of an affair and you’ve decided to raise it with your wife just say that. If you don’t want to say anything – why don’t you both stop constantly posting and begging for clickbait. Just raise your 100 children in private.”
Alec Baldwin replied, writing: “you should shut the f— up and mind your own business.”
Right after that, people swarmed Baldwin’s comment in support, calling out how insensitive people online can be. “Wish I knew why are people so mean…” Baldwin responded, saying, “because, basically, they’re not very smart. Americans are people who know less about how to live a peaceful, healthy life than most of the civilized world.”
People then pointed their attention to Hilaria, highlighting how she seemingly appropriated her heritage. Hilaria was born to two white parents in Boston, and people believe she has been faking her Spanish accent and misleading people to believe she is from Spain and that Spanish is her “native language.”
In response to the critics, Baldwin said she should have been “more clear” about her heritage. “The way I’ve spoken about myself and my deep connection to two cultures could have been better explained – I should have been more clear and I’m sorry.”
