Top music artists in the industry have come together to call on Joe Biden and Kamala Harris to start a racial justice initiative once they take office.

In a video released this week, Alicia Keys, Mary J. Blige, T.I. ASAP Gerg, Summer Walker, Offset Quavo, Khalid, Ty Dolla Sign, Vic Mensa, and more make appearances for the campaign.

The video is called “17 More Ways You Could Be Killed if You Are Black in America” and shows the artists reading the names of the Black victims of police brutality and the cops’ reasons for their murders.

“Accused of using a fake 20, George Floyd,” for example.

These musicians are part of the Black Music Action Coalition and did this in conjunction with the #breathwithme coalition.

“I can’t believe that just four and a half years after we released ’23 Ways You Could Be Killed If You Are Black in America,’ we’re here to share ‘17 More Ways’ Black lives have been lost to racism,” Alicia Keys said in a statement. “2020 will never be forgotten as a year of awakening for many. More than 1,000 people were killed by police violence, with Black people accounting for a disproportionate amount of those deaths.”
