Wow, didn’t see this one coming. After a single year of marriage, Amber Rose has filed for divorce. Amber, who seemingly appeared smitten with Wiz, says the couple split on Monday and cited Amber irreconcilable differences. She is also looking for full legal and physical custody of the couple’s one year old son, Bash.
Amber acknowledges that she and Wiz signed a pre-nup and does not plan to challenge it. The pre-nup also provides her with spousal support. What could have been the reason for the break up? Rumors say it was infidelity but there’s no mention of it in the official divorce papers. Here’s what the streets are saying though: Amber recently signed a new management deal with Nick Cannon and according to the rumor mill, Amber’s business isn’t the only thing Nick has been managing. Cannon, who’s also going through a divorce, is rumored to be creeping around with Amber, and was even spotted getting super close with Amber and her son at the Power 106 celebrity basketball game over the weekend. Who know’s how true this is but that’s the tea around the streets.
Another story we’re hearing is that Amber doesn’t exactly trust Wiz. Since the two have tied the knot and gave birth to their son, Amber has been looking for Wiz to make more adult decisions in his life, and he hasn’t. He still continues to smoke heavily, isn’t really the best “husband” figure possible and is pretty childish. She also wants to be present at all of his functions which I can imagine isn’t much fun for Wiz. If this is true, I can believe it. Lots of women think marriage and babies change a man, but if he was childish when you met him chances are he’ll be childish after.
As far as this divorce, we’ll have to wait and see but if Amber is creeping with Nick or if she was just sick of Wiz’s childish ways. Stay tuned!
