On Saturday, Amber Rose took to her Instagram Story to express her frustration with her former boyfriend Alexander “AE” Edwards cheating ways.
Rose, 37, posted a lengthy message to her Instagram stories, along with a meme depicting a man manipulating a woman.
“When ur in love with a narcissist,” the model began her post. “Ur brain tells you to run when ur heart says stay. Unanswered questions. Gaslighting. Stonewalling, Deflecting, Projecting.”
She added, “I wish it was easy for me to ‘fix him,’ but that’s not for me to do. The pain cuts so deep, especially when there are children involved.”
“I will always love him so much, but I know I can’t heal him,” Muva wrote. “Only he can do that. I knew I had to set myself free publicly or I would’ve stayed forever never receiving the love I craved and begged for. Tough choice because it hurts so bad, but I choose me.
“I didn’t want to have to do this at all, I just wanted my family MY HUSBAND,” Amber concluded the post. “There’s only so many times I can ask a man to just be transparent, honest and love me wholeheartedly. I don’t know if I’ll get the happy ending I wanted but maybe I’ll get the happy ending I deserve.”
Rose first called out AE, 33, for cheating on her in an Instagram Story posted on Wednesday. On Thursday, AE confirmed the infidelity and openly admitted to cheating on Rose with at least 12 different women throughout their relationship. While he claimed to love her, he maintained that’s who he is and that he will not change.
The two share a son, 22-month-old Slash Electric. Rose is also mom to 8-year-old Sebastian, whom she shares with ex Wiz Khalifa.
