Former America’s Next Top Model contestant Mirjana Puhar has died. The 19 year old, who competed on Cycle 21 of the show, was killed Tuesday evening in a triple homicide in Charlotte, North Carolina, according to authorities.
Police said Mirjana, her boyfriend Jonathan, 23, and his roommate Jusmar, 21, were found by a friend at the boyfriend’s home. A 19 year old suspect, Emmanuel, has been arrested and charged with three counts of first degree murder. Police also said he has been charged in connection with a separate killing in nearby Matthews, North Carolina on Sunday. He remains in police custody, and the charges are allegations that have not been proven in court.
Tributes came from the show’s family. ANTM judge Miss J. Alexander wrote on Twitter that he was saddened to learn of her death and remembered her fondly, and Tyra Banks also shared her condolences. Our thoughts are with the families and friends of all three victims.
