Let’s be honest, at some point when he laid with her and made their child, he told her he loved her. He promised her forever. He made her feel like the only girl in the world. Much like he makes you feel, right? At some point she was the greatest thing to happen to his life and he felt that he would die if she ever left him. The baby came and though things were cool for a moment, they eventually ended. He eventually moved on and he eventually found you. But what makes you think that you can’t be her? What makes you think you have something she doesn’t?

You see, a lot of new girlfriends don’t know their place. They let a man pillow talk with them and believe they all of a sudden know everything about the other woman. In fact, they don’t know much at all. They don’t know how hard she has to work, how many arguments it takes to get a can of milk, or how many bitches and hoes she has to be called in public all because she demands more from a man than he is willing to give. Who are you to think you can’t be baby mama #2? What makes you think your name won’t be added to the laundry list of “baby mamas” that he clowns with his friends? Do you really think there won’t be another new girlfriend?
So Dear New Girlfriend, mind your business. If nothing else, encourage that your man be there for his children by any means possible. Don’t be the reason that he isn’t taking care of his responsibilities, or the person he feels comfortable enough bad mouthing his baby mama to. Never lower yourself to be with a man that not only says derogatory things to his baby mama, but refuses to take care of his children either financially or emotionally. Never forget that it could just as easily be you.
