André 3000 Gets His Own Signature T-Shirt in Supreme Fall/Winter Collection

Supreme has tapped the legendary André 3000 for its highly anticipated fall/winter line.

Over the weekend, the cultural tastemakers shared a picture of the often reclusive rapper sporting their signature Supreme tee, photographed by Deana Lawson. The image was one of the first glimpses into the collaboration between the lyricist and iconic brand. Shortly after the image dropped, clothing news blog @DropsbyJay shared a behind-the-scenes video of the Outkast star’s shoot with the brand. In the clip, 3Stacks speaks openly about the essence of finding oneself as a creator.

“If I ain’t creating nothin’, I don’t feel good,” 3000 says. “You gotta put the time in to figure out who you are and what you’re not. A lot of times, what you’re not is very important.”

On the Supreme website, a look at the fall/winter lineup shows the “Roses” lyricist on the cover of the classic Box Logo Tee sporting a Supreme Logo Tee. André 3000 is the latest MC to grace the front of the signature shirt that has become a streetwear staple. Nas, RZA, and Three Six Mafia are among the long list of hip-hop acts that have worked with the brand over the years.

As of now, Supreme’s web store is closed, so there is no indication when the fall/winter season will be available for sale. However, according to their social media, it appears the collection will be released in the upcoming weeks.
